Dear DOA Nazi Tards

Punk ain’t no religious cult
Punk means thinking for yourself
You ain’t hardcore cos you spike your hair
When a jock still lives inside your head
Nazi punks
Nazi punks
Nazi punks? Fuck Off!
If you’ve come to fight, get outa here
You ain’t no better than the bouncers
We ain’t trying to be police
When you are the cops it ain’t anarchy
Ten guys jump one, what a man
You fight each other, the police state wins
Stab your backs when you trash our halls
Trash a bank if you’ve got real balls
You still think swastikas look cool
The real nazis run your schools
Teachers, businessmen and cops
In a real fourth reich you’ll be the first to go
You’ll be the first to go
You’ll be the first to go
You’ll be the first to go
Unless you think?

Dead Kennedys Nazi Punks Fuck Off, 1981

Wow. People sure are dumb.
And this is never ok. And yes, even despite the sexy hotpants, and the fact that the holocaust happened “a long time ago.” *rolls eyes*

  1. Wow… that DoA topic didn’t last long… ^^;
Hmmm… paint over the swastika and maybe take off the red armband thingy….
then I’d have no problem with the outfit. *shrugs*
I also don’t have a prob with swastikas in general because it was a religious symbol FIRST. Not the asian’s fault a madman decided to take their symbol and have it represent nazi movement.
poor poor swastika… will you ever be the same again?

  2. The sign originally implies harmony and strength, and the N.a.z.i r*ped it. I’ve seen ignorant people criticizing and trashing a temple because they saw the sign and though it is related to N.a.z.i. As for the doll outfit, they can argue that it is a religious symbol, but together with a uniform? I don’t think so.
I twtiched when I see these doll companies being so inconsiderate. It is not something anyone should be proud of. Pinkys in WWII German uniform holding up a N.a.z.i gesture? Come on.
Perhaps it goes back to the relationship between Japan and Germany during WWII. Perhaps it is long time ago that people are too remote to have any strong feelings about this topic. It is just not right to take at it as a trendy fashionable thing. It is just so wrong.
But of course there was a time when someone simply posed a doll with hand holding up (as saying hello), people started accusing it as a N.a.z.i gesture. I think it is just as retarded.

  3. It seems to be a fad in Japan. In my Fruits mags lots of Japanese “punks” have swastikas and “fuck you” all over their clothing. They also wear a lot of crosses, although I think the meaning behind all those symbols is lost in their culture. A brand tries be all angsty and ‘hard core’ and stupid teen age Japanese kids buy it to be cool. Lots of girls wear the “gothic lolita” get ups, and probably have no idea what the “Lolita” book is all about. It’s the same with dead phrases. Saying that someone “gypped” you or “jewed” you is still used today, but modern man doesn’t know how derogatory it is. Things get lost in time, and in foreign countries. Bottom line: silly Japanese punk kids are trying to be angsty cool teenagers by being all dangerous’. Cause for alarm? I think not. Everyone just needs to lighten up more.
